What is RWB?
RWB (Red, White & Blue) is our practice model that includes two important key elements of our value proposition: bottom line savings and the ability to scale. RWB is Creospan’s recruiting and project staffing model that augments our internal and external talent pool with entry level professionals, providing blended rates that are competitive to off-shore models. Creospan adopted this program to give young college undergrads and graduates a chance to experience on the job training with our senior level engineers.
Program Overview:
- Our projects are staffed with local college graduates proportionally
- The graduates are paired with Creospan’s senior level engineers
- Rates are competitive with offshore models
- Sponsoring corporation is encouraged to hire the college team with marginal HR orientation cost
- Corporations have a chance to give back to the community to help employ and train local college graduates
The Process:
- The placement starts with recruiting students that match an education checklist of basic skills
- Next selected students will start their four major areas of basic foundation training: corporate, core, industry and technical.
- Students will start with an intensive two week “boot camp” training program
- During parts of their training students are paired with senior level engineers for on the job training.
- After a 12-18 month training curriculum is complete the student is ready for an assignment on a project level or full time hire.
