RF Engineering

Creospan’s strategic vision in the RF service offering is to provide technology consultancy to optimize our customers’ capital and operational expenditure outlays through detailed knowledge of radio access technology. We focus on 4G broadband technologies such as Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMax) and Long Term Evolution (LTE). Creospan provides RF consultancy support to telecom companies involved in the deployment of WiMax or LTE networks. We have a team of certified RF Engineers currently involved in the testing and deployment of the largest network in North America. Creospan has RF engineering consultancy capabilities in: 

Strategic Consulting:

  • Employ a highly trained staff of RF engineers with extensive experience in design and optimization of cellular networks (GSM, EDGE, CDMA, iDEN, DoRA, WiMax, LTE)
  • Our strategic consulting experience includes 2G, 3G, and 4G networks in the following stages:  
    • Network Planning and Design
    • Performance Analysis and Network Optimization
    • Network Operations and Maintenance

RF Training:

  • Provide training on the details of the air interface of 4G networks
    • First Phase: WiMax (802.16e)
    • Second Phase: Long Term Evolution (LTE)
  • Initial focus is on training the internal RF engineers on 4G technologies
  • Training will include:
    • Plan for migration from 2G/2.5G/3G to 4G networks
    • Analysis to address coverage vs. capacity requirements
    • Design for service offering (Data vs. VoIP/Real time Applications
